We are Josh and Natalie! We are recently married and excited to be an ambassador couple in this amazing Jewish community! We both live in Cincinnati and enjoy spending time with our friends and 3 dogs (Nico, Taco, & Chloe), taking walks, traveling, art, Netflix & Star Wars. Natalie grew up in a small town in southern Ohio and after college she moved to Cincinnati for work and has been here ever since! Josh grew up in Bexley, Ohio, and has been in Cincinnati for the last 10 years.

What does community mean to you?

To me, community means being part of a group of people that you feel comfortable being yourself around. In a community you can connect over common interests and values.

How do you “do Jewish?”

I “Jewish” in everything I do. I hold Jewish values close to my heart and think of them in my actions and words to make sure they reflect the same. I celebrate Shabbat each Friday by lighting candles and saying the prayers either at Temple, home or with friends & family. I am always involved in events in the young Jewish Community to make new friends. I also love celebrating the holidays!

What’s your favorite place in Cincinnati? And why?

My favorite place in Cincinnati is Summit Park. There is always something going on there. I love the large swings to sit and read a book, the dog park is amazing and the restaurants are the best!

It’s a hot summer day, what’s your drink of choice.

Giant Eagle bottled water. It is the BEST! No comparison.

I work in training and development. I love helping employees grow in their careers and figure out their next steps!

For me a community is a group of people who look after one another, and all contribute towards the communities success.

How do you “do Jewish?”

In a religious perspective, I try and light the candles every Friday, attend Next Gen services, and participate in the major holiday’s. Passover is probably my favorite!

I also try and stay active in the young Jewish Community. Since I started getting involved in 2018, I’ve made some great friends, and had the chance to engage in great events!

What’s your favorite place in Cincinnati? And why?

My favorite place in Cincinnati is Summit Park. There’s great food, and we can bring our pups to the dog park or even to any of the restaurants!

It’s a hot summer day, what’s your drink of choice.

It’s hard to read this question without imagining sitting by a pool with a beer in hand. Ah, paradise!
